While scanning the photos directely do not give the outstanding results scanning the negative does, somtimes the photo is all you have and the results are still very good.

The example above is a 20+ year old photo with just a dust and scratch removal done post scanning

Photos are scanned at either 300dpi or 600dpi depending on customer preference

Where needed images are retouched in photoshop to remove larger dust artifacts - correct any remaining colour balance and contrast issues and rotate images to the correct orientation.

Images vary depending on the size of photo scanned the above example is around A5 size. Images are normally saved as JPGs - TIFFs are available on request however at an extra cost. The difference in quality of the full resolution JPG and TIFF is barely if at all visible. Therefore we will send JPGs unless otherwise asked
